What you'd work on

Our platform handles everything from financial calculations to court form generation to AI-powered data extraction. Here's a look at the problems we're solving.

Calculation Engine

A proprietary engine that computes child support, spousal support, and property division across all Canadian jurisdictions — with full federal and provincial tax integration, updated continuously as legislation changes.

Document Automation

A DOCX-native browser-based document editor built from scratch in Rust and WebAssembly. It renders, edits, and generates court forms and agreements directly in the browser — no Word dependency required.

AI & Data Extraction

AI-powered tools that extract financial data from tax returns, pay stubs, and other source documents — turning hours of manual data entry into a few seconds of automated processing for every client file.

Why Divorcepath

We're building something that matters, and we want to do it in a way that respects the people doing the work.

Work that matters

Our tools help families through one of the most difficult transitions of their lives. The software you build here has a direct, measurable impact on real people.

Flexible working

We're based in Calgary, but we're flexible about how and where you work. We care about output and quality, not hours at a desk.

Hard technical problems

Computational law, DOCX rendering in WebAssembly, multi-jurisdiction tax engines, AI data extraction — the problems here are genuinely interesting.

Small team, big ownership

No layers of bureaucracy. You'll ship features that go directly to users, work across the stack, and have real input into product decisions.

Continuous learning

We invest in professional development and give you time and space to learn new technologies, deepen domain expertise, and grow your career.

Competitive compensation

We offer competitive salaries, benefits, and the opportunity to grow with a company that's still in its early stages of scaling across Canada.
